Home food gardening has seen a resurgence since the start of COVID-19 pandemic. This article presents preliminary findings from first 6 months 22-month home study in Nova Scotia, Canada. Participant gardeners were asked to log their weekly activities and household expenses. Diary entries show how production fostered community connections, occasioned new social interactions, fed households. Diaries that participants enjoyed growing felt sense accomplishment gardening.
